Amazing video of massive solar flare erupting from surface of Sun

NASA’s Solar Dynamic Observatory filmed images of a large solar flare on February 24 2011. The (M3.6 rating) event is not the strongest solar flare ever recorded but was still big enough to kick up a huge tendril of plasma, known as a solar prominence. The entire eruption lasted for about 90 minutes. Thursday’s flare was the latest in a recent series of of sun storm emissions, but its blast was directed away from the Earth and is not expected to pose any disruption to satellites or other electronic systems. Scientists use a three tier system to classify solar flares; Class X are the largest and most powerful, Class M are medium but still considered very large, while Class C are the weakest..” RT on Facebook: www.facebook.com RT on Twitter: twitter.com

How to build a Solar Panel from Solar Cells DIY Part 1

How to build a Solar Panel from Solar Cells DIY Part 1 This is a video of how I build solar panels from single solar cells wired in series. This is a great DIY “do it yourself” Green power project. These solar panels are very powerful and following these steps you will be able to make them for 1/3 of what they sell them for in the stores. If your looking to get off the grid or just drop your electric bill this is perfect for you! Stay tuned for up and coming parts. I will seal these solar panels and test them in up and coming videos. We will even show how we install it on my own home and how I connect it to our grid tie inverter. I hope you enjoy the video. All the best, -Pete Mixcat.com mixcatcom

G Living’s Real G Pilot Episode from gliving.com

We put together a full hour long Real G show to test out the concepts of a green lifestyle show with our unique dark green twist. The music for the most part is just temp music and wouldn’t make it to the real show. If some powerful producer likes what they see, head over to gliving.com. The show is very rough, and not done exactly as we would have liked. We wanted to create a full live show with an in studio audience. We just didn’t have the space or budget to pull that off. View this pilot show as a rough draft for what is to come.

Kat interviews Aya from susteco

I met Aya when I was out in Chiba the other day.. There is a group of University students who are making and distributing a free magazine that brings awareness to university students about sustainability and fun ways of living a green lifestyle. The idea is to try and share this magazine with 5 friends.. so once you read the magazine.. you pass it on. That way, the 5000 copies that they print out will be read by over 25000 people.. I was so impressed by her passion that I asked if I could introduce her magazine on my VLOG.. so here she is!! Sorry it’s in Japanese.. I just don’t have time to include subtitles today so I have given a basic translation above!! some links that explain further… www.city.yokohama.jp susteco.org
