I did my Big Chop July 21, 2009 and found that for a few days after my hair was soooooo dry, but I found some Raw Shea Butter that helped BIG time. As a shampoo I use Dr. Bronner’s 18-in-1 Peppermint Pure Castile Soap. I few days I ago I went and bought the Oyin Handmade Sample Pack

Thanks! I’ll try this once all my Oyin stuff runs out. I’ve found that since all my little permed ends haven’t been cut off, using the Oyin it makes those ends stick out for some reason. So I’m back to my Shea Butter and use the Greg Juice in the mornings when it feels a little dry. And i’ll get on the Vitamins pronto.
try mixing olive oil into your shea butter. and you can use honey mixed with olive oil it will help define your curls. try not to become a product junkie… stick with natural products that youcan find rite in ur on kitchen, so far i’ve made my on pre-poo, shampoo & conditioner.. and always be kind to your scalp and hair. and the less you play and toy around in your hair the faster it grow’s TAKE A MULTIVITAMIN, Biotin is also good4 the hair as well as the skin and nails. good luck.
